We’ve been shortlisted for the 2010 British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) Award in the best Business to Business website category for a global FMCG company’s internal marketing programme.

This FMCG company had been running an ‘academy-style’ internal marketing training programme since the mid-1990s but, the programme was deemed no longer fit for purpose and needed radical re-thinking. Our challenge was to develop a marketing capability development programme that would result in a real, sustainable behaviour change and drive brand growth.

An Intranet portal was created to facilitate a blended learning journey and experience which was engaging for users without compromising on usability. The portal used a mix of technologies, techniques and includes a Virtual Campus, video avatars, intuitive navigation, a contextual search, personal bookmarks, bespoke content management and live tracking.

The BIMA awards are described as the best of the digital industry. Other websites shortlisted in the category include external customer facing sites from Aviva, Orange and Google. As candidates in this category, we are very much in the ‘thick’ of excellence in the highly competitive world of outward and inward facing digital.
